Recovery and Results Be Like After Labiaplasty
Patients should schedule a week off from work to recover at home. The labia will be a little tender and sore after surgery, but swelling and pain can be reduced with cold ice packs. You may also be prescribed or recommended medication. All swelling should be gone by six weeks. During recovery, patients should wear loose clothing to avoid friction and should avoid exercise and strenuous activities. Tampons and sexual intercourse should be avoided for four to six weeks.
