The procedure: What to expect

Once the correct implant has been finalized, we will create a pocket beneath the skin to hold the implant in place. This is a critical part of the procedure. If the pocket is incorrectly sized, it can result in a crooked implant.

Once the pocket is complete, we will place the implant and carefully close the incision in layers to ensure a virtually imperceptible scar.

Recovery

You can expect bruising, swelling, and discomfort for a period of time after your chin augmentation. During the first few weeks, you’ll be instructed to massage the incision daily and avoid strenuous activity. What are the alternatives to chin implants?

This quick treatment results in no downtime, but the results are not permanent. As such, you’ll require repeat injections to maintain your new contours.
