Deflation after breastfeeding is a very common aesthetic concern for post-partum mothers. Plastic surgeons have a huge toolbox at their disposal to restore breast volume, however the correct surgery must be dictated by the patient’s anatomy and goals!
This delightful patient underwent a breast augmentation with Sientra HSC Smooth Round Moderate Plus Profile 305 cc implants. The implants were placed under the muscle through a small 4 cm incision in the folds of her breasts. I use an ultra-sterile, no touch technique to place the implants into their new pockets using a funnel. She is loving her new breast shape, feeling a renewed sense of self-confidence, and wearing clothes that make her feel even more feminine!
